Visiting the Van Gogh, Monet and Degas exhibition at Palazzo Zabarella in Padua is an experience that you will remember for a long time, not only for the masterpieces on display, but also for… the air you breathe!

And not to mention: Jonix and HiRef (Galletti Group) have developed an innovative air conditioning and sanitising system throughout the exhibition area that creats thermo-hygrometric conditions. This ensures the well-being of visitors and protects works from environmental physical-chemical phenomena and from aggression by biological agents. In a nutshell: you always breathe clean air (yes, even in rooms packed with visitors) and the paintings are kept in the best conditions.

Leading this redevelopment is the Jonix NTP cold plasma technology which has its own specialty: it is able to replicate the natural de-polluting and disinfectant effects caused by sunlight in the atmosphere, without any health-related side effects and with extremely low energy consumption rates.

So, what will you find that ensures the best air quality, both perceived and physical, in the rooms of Palazzo Zabarella? We installed different types of Jonix products:

  • Jonix Inside to constantly keep important parts sanitised inside the fan coil units
  • 6 Jonix Cubes in the rooms, near the paintings, in order to counter high amounts of chemical compounds, microorganisms and odours;
  • A Jonix Mate, equipped with its own ventilation unit managed by a control software, to filter and sanitise the air in the main room on the first floor.

And then there is another plus, to maximise our visitors’ comfort (even the most anxious!). We have a specially created device that uses cold plasma technology to quickly sanitise (in just 5 minutes) the headphones we give with audio guides. You just have to try the experience of breathing in art at Palazzo Zabarella: we bet that after this you will not miss another exhibition ever again!
